Eiffel Tower Glows Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Eiffel Tower was illuminated by pink lights on Thursday night, October 1, as part of an effort to raise awareness for breast cancer and support its research, reports said. The group Le Cancer du Sein, Parlons-En (the name translates to “Breast Cancer, Let’s Talk About It”) launched France’s 27th annual Octobre Rose (Pink October) on the first of the month under the slogan “Tous unis par une même couleur,” or, “all united by the same color,” reports said.
