Heavy Rain From Tropical Storm Eta Causes Flooding in South Florida

Tropical Storm Eta caused flooding across South Florida in the early hours of November 9, with 14 to 15 inches of floodwater reported in some areas. This footage, by Sammy Hadi, shows strong winds and driving rain in the University Park area of Miami-Dade early Monday morning. The National Weather Service warned that strong wind gusts and torrential rainfall remained a concern by November 9. CBS reported that many South Florida residents experienced power outages on Monday. Florida Power and Light said that 9,070 customers were without power in Miami-Dade, and 8,730 customers in Broward.
