Deciding where to stay is important in La Plagne, since some of the 11 villages that make up the resort are not only miles apart but in different valleys. There’s also a choice to make between the low-lying traditional farming villages of Champagny, Montalbert and Montchavin, or the higher, purpose-built ski villages – Plagne Centre (the main hub of the resort), Plagne Bellecôte, Les Coches, Belle Plagne, Plagne 1800, Aime 2000, Plagne Soleil and Plagne Village.
There is a range of different standards of accommodation across the villages, including a lot of budget to moderate self-catering apartments, several catered chalet options from British operators, a good-value new-wave hostel plus a handful of luxury chalet-hotels and apartment options.
Residence Les Constellations
Located on the green slope that runs through Belle Plagne, studios and apartments in Les Constellations are very well located, not just for the slopes but for ski school meeting points and the rental shop too. All the accommodation faces south with balconies to soak up the sun and the views.
